BRMail Policies and Operations
- Is BRMail private?
- Will I receive junk mail or "spam"?
- What do I do if I have a problem on BRMail?
Yes. Your BRMail mailbox is private and confidential. BRMail emphasizes and respects your right to privacy. Your e-mail can only be accessed using your personal username and password.

We at BRMail do not tolerate any form of spam or similar unsolicited commercial e-mail. We strongly urge all BRMail users to respect and comply with this policy. Any abuse of this policy should please be reported to abuse@brmail.co.za. Further, we take active steps to prevent both incoming and outgoing spam. Amongst these, BRMail primarily uses Blackhole lists. These are systems that dynamically track email servers throughout the world that are responsible for sending spam. BRMail then rejects any email originating from such servers that have been identified as spam sources.
Currently, BRMail uses the following Blackhole lists:
- dnsbl.sorbs.net
- dnsbl.njabl.org
- list.dsbl.org
- sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org

The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section of this page will be continually updated and should provide the answers to most questions you might have regarding the BRMail system.
